Soccer Analyst Sutton Battles Artist Murs in Top Flight Predictions
The Gunners' ten-match victorious run came to an end by Sunderland prior to the international break, but can the Premier League leaders recover against local foes Spurs this weekend?
"{I feel like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," remarked football expert Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating finest this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team usually still find a way to win."
Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this season, against AI, fans and a range of guests.
For week 12, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan.
Murs' latest record, Knees Up, is available on the weekend.
Soccer and Family Experiences
Olly is a talented footballer as well as a accomplished singer and has been a featured player of several charity football games down the years - but he is not intending a serious return as a footballer.
"{I recently played in a benefit game the other night for a friend of mine," he said. "My side was trailing 3-1 when I came off in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you will!
"I still love football, but I hurt my joint a few years ago and it still isn't where I want it to be. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too risky for me in my profession to do it seriously again.
"Additionally I am forty-one now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am preparing for the time that my daughter or boy chooses to play instead."
The singer and his wife Amelia Tank have a young family, their daughter and their son, and he is ready to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their coach.
"I won't force football on our children but I've already told my wife that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will probably be coaching their weekend soccer team," he said.
"I watched my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I clearly owned a football club for a period too.
"My dad coached with us when I was a child, which is probably where I inherited it. He coached our team for several seasons and had a wonderful time with it. That could be the next step for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Top Division Forecasts
Saturday, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea might have to be patient for their star's comeback from injury but their attack is already more potent with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both returned to fitness.
In my opinion this game will be fairly close, though. The Clarets are disciplined and their sole at Turf Moor losses so far have been against Liverpool and the Gunners.
This smells of a 1-1 draw to me, but I am actually going to choose Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third consecutive Premier League win in a row.
The expert's forecast: 1-2
The singer's pick: The Blues will be too strong. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Cherries have lost their previous couple matches - although both of them were away - but they got thoroughly beaten by Villa last time out which surprised me.
In contrast, West Ham secured back-to-back victories before the international break and, although both of those games were at home, they appear competitive again.
West Ham's sole on the road win this season came at Nottingham Forest in the summer, when West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo was still that team's coach.
So, what on earth do I predict here - will it be West Ham continuing their streak under Nuno, or Bournemouth bouncing back?
I will choose Bournemouth, because I believe what occurred against Villa was a anomaly.
The pundit's forecast: 2-0
The guest's prediction: The home team are performing strongly but West Ham have picked up under Nuno. 2-2
AI's prediction: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were seen as one of the favourites for relegation before the season started, but they have surprised a few people under their manager and are in fine fettle with three wins in their past four games.
My son advised me to select Bees striker Thiago in my Fantasy Football team a few weeks ago and, guess what, I ignored the advice.
Thiago will probably score again on Saturday but I am still not going to select him or back the away side at Brighton's ground.
The Bees have not had much fortune on the travel this term, and the Seagulls are consistently strong at home. Brentford will attempt to hit them on the break but I feel the home manager's team carry much more of a danger.
Sutton's prediction: 2-1
The singer's view: This could be a match where you expect there is going to be a lot of scores but it in reality turns out to be quite close. 1-1
The computer's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a huge fixture for Fulham, who have lost five of their last six matches.
Fulham have have plenty of talent in their squad but it still seems like they could be sucked into a drop zone fight.
Regarding the Black Cats, well they are the surprise package of the top flight campaign so far.
The away side's performance in the 2-2 tie with the Gunners last time out was superb. We've not witnessed any other team disrupt the North London side like that this season, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.
The sensible thing would be to support the visitors here, because they are obviously capable of disrupting Fulham up too and, the previous occasion they were in west London, they beat Chelsea at the close of last month.
But I am not going to do that. Instead, I really need to continue opposing the away team with my forecasts. I am taking a lot of credit for their positive outcomes because they evidently love to defy my predictions.
Looking at the home side's at Craven Cottage form, the only side they have lost to is the league leaders. Marco Silva's team will be absolutely desperate for a good result, so I am going to say they will pick up three much-needed points.
Sutton's forecast: 1-0
Olly's prediction: I'm aware Sunderland are performing strongly and additionally that the hosts are on a bad run... but they have still been decent at home this campaign. 2-0
AI's outlook: 2-0

It is a hard one to call. Liverpool have suffered seven of their last ten games in every tournament, but might they be among the sides who profit from the {international break|
