Fresh Information Come to Light Concerning the Location of Rob and Michele Singer Reiner's Bodies

New information has come to light about the shocking demises of renowned film director Rob Reiner and artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose remains were discovered at their Los Angeles home property on Sunday.

A Discovery

A source indicates referencing a confidential source, a practitioner arriving for an session first raised the alarm after not being able to enter the house. This individual then got in touch with the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who lives close by.

Upon entering the residence, Romy came upon her father's body. It is said she then left the home distraught, not realizing at that moment that her mother's body was also present. Her roommate who had gone with her then dialed 911. Afterward, emergency responders located Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Legal Charges

The police have charged the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with two counts of murder in the first degree, along with the charge related to a weapon, said to be a knife. He is currently in custody and is ineligible for bail.

Disputed Reports

The person close to the family also disputed several initial details. They said that while Romy Reiner told first responders that her brother Nick lived in a separate structure on the property, she did not name him as a potential suspect at that time.

The source also pushed back against circulated claims that Rob and Michele Singer Reiner had been particularly "concerned" about Nick's conduct in recent weeks. Instead the family was "accustomed to working through [Nick's] problems together."

This correction also extends to reports of alleged "erratic" conduct by Nick at a event thrown by Conan O'Brien on the night before the bodies were found. While the source said they were unable to confirm whether Rob had "rebuked" his son at the party, they maintained that suggestions of a "blow-up" between the two were untrue.

Investigation Details

According to law enforcement sources, the medical examiner had yet to determine as of Tuesday whether the Reiners died on Saturday evening or on Sunday. Some media reports suggested the state of their bodies pointed to they had been deceased for a period of time.

Nick Reiner was arrested at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Sunday in the Exposition Park area, roughly 15 miles from the scene. He was set to be arraigned on Tuesday, but his lawyer, Alan Jackson, stated his client had a medical issue and would not be present until no sooner than Wednesday.
