Devoted fans of the actress are calling for that a individual who leaped a fence and touched the performer during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A viral video depicts the person identified as Johnson Wen bypassing photographers and charging at Grande while the cast made its way down a yellow carpet accompanied by fans.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "released after being detained", though court documents revealed that he was scheduled to attend court on the next day. It is not clear if he was charged.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram profile contains recordings of him interrupting other celebrity events, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney show in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last year.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is clearly a legal violation," stated an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Voice Worry Over the Star's Safety

Numerous followers accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with PTSD after a devastating incident at the finale of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and wounding many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" wrote another comment on Instagram.

A number of supporters also faulted guards at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals requested digital services to block Mr Wen's videos.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In clips spreading on the internet, Grande appeared startled when she was approached by the man. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was led out by staff.

Grande has remained silent on the event, and the rest of the event proceeded as normal.

Hundreds of attendees had congregated in a crowd of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good international launch in a Singapore mall, including a number who had queued for as long as a significant duration before it began.

The motion picture, to be premiered on November 21, is the follow-up of a two-film adaptation of the acclaimed stage production Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely relationship between two contrasting witches.

The production itself is a spin-off of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the good witch Glinda, was decked out in a rosé glittering gown at the event while Erivo, who acts as the wicked witch, wore a elegant ensemble decorated with roses.

They were alongside fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful film of the previous year in the UK, and earned ten Academy Award nods, securing two for excellent wardrobe and set decoration.
