Ex- Physician Accused of Sexual Assault Allegations Against 38 Individuals in His Care
Legal authorities have stated that a former physician stands accused of performing assaults against 38 individuals who were patients.
The Grave Allegations
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of dozens of acts of sexual assault – comprising acts against children younger than 13 – spanning the period from 2017 and 2021.
One senior prosecutor stated, “Legal teams have worked at length to assist a detailed and complex investigation, meticulously examining the available evidence to determine that there is a strong case to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
The Police Inquiry
The charges follow what investigators described as a “detailed inquiry” into alleged assaults at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and Russells Hall hospital.
The defendant is due to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.

Prosecutors outline the 45 sexual offences include:
- 15 counts of assault.
- Seventeen counts of penetrative assault.
- 9 counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- Three counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
- One count of attempting to assault by penetration.
