The Setup
Good evening! Because, let's be honest …
The standings tells a striking contrast. Arsenal sit comfortably at the top of the Premier League, while Wolves occupy the bottom of the league.
… yet while this will be the 42nd time the Premier League leaders have faced the side at the foot of the division – with 30 out of 41, with seven tied games – which team is responsible for two of the four all-time upsets? Why, Wolves, that’s who! So while the Arsenal manager will surely be anticipating another victory, the Wolves boss must know that long shots occasionally come off, and you never know. The start is at 8pm GMT. The action is imminent!
(The remaining last-over-first victories in the Premier League era are Oldham’s 1-0 win over United in March 1993, and Tottenham Hotspur – yeah, a surprising one - defeating Liverpool in November 2008.)
