Just as with my bond with the Rocky series through my dad, The X-Files is deeply meaningful to my mom.

My mom means the world in my life — she’s actually present this evening — making this a major project personally.

I aim to do justice with her plus the audience. My mom has seen some of the writing I created for the reboot. She’s fired up.
